DJI-Agras-T25 Ireland

1. What is the DJI Agras T25?

The DJI T25 is a next-generation agricultural drone designed for precision spraying. Compact yet powerful, it carries up to 20 litres of liquid and uses intelligent flight planning to spray crops efficiently, accurately, and safely.

2. How much liquid can it carry?

The T25 supports a 20-litre spray tank with a maximum payload of up to 25 kg, allowing you to cover large areas efficiently with fewer refills.

3. How much land can it spray per hour?

Under ideal conditions, the T25 can spray up to 12 hectares (30 acres) per hour.
 Depending on:

  • Spray rate (litres per hectare)

  • Field layout and terrain

  • Weather and wind conditions

  • Battery swap and refill speed

4. What is the flight time per battery?

Each battery provides approximately 10–15 minutes of flight time, depending on payload and wind. With multiple batteries, you can operate continuously by rotating charges.

5. Is the T25 fully autonomous?

Yes. The T25 supports fully automated spraying missions using GPS/RTK precision. Flight paths can be planned in advance via the DJI Agriculture app, and the drone follows the route with centimetre-level accuracy.

6. What types of products can it spray?

The T25 can spray a wide range of approved agricultural solutions, including:

  • Liquid fertilizers

  • Natural products (e.g. seaweed or compost teas)

  • Herbicides and fungicides(with approvals)

  • Insecticides (with approvals)

  • Foliar nutrients

Tip: Always ensure products are well-diluted and filtered to avoid nozzle clogs.

7. What safety features are included?

The T25 is equipped with advanced safety systems, including:

  • Obstacle detection (front/rear radar and binocular vision)

  • Terrain following for slopes and uneven ground

  • Auto return-to-home if signal is lost or battery runs low

  • Emergency stop button

  • Live spray flow and pressure monitoring

These features help protect both the drone and your land

8. Do I need a licence or permission to use it?

Yes. In Ireland (and most EU countries), you typically need:

  • A drone pilot qualification ( Specific Category)

  • An Operational Authorisation under PDRA-S01 for spraying

  • Agricultural spraying permission if applying PPPs (plant protection products)

Training and documentation support are available through certified providers. Avtrain

9. How do I control the drone?

The DJI T25 is operated via the DJI RC Plus remote controller, paired with the DJI Agriculture app. You can:

  • Plan autonomous flight missions

  • Monitor spray performance live

  • Switch to manual control when needed

10. What maintenance is required?

Regular maintenance ensures reliability and longevity:

  • Rinse the tank, nozzles, and lines after each use

  • Check and clean the filters regularly

  • Inspect propellers and arms before each flight

  • Monitor battery health and charging cycles

  • Keep firmware up to date via the DJI app

11. Can it fly in wind or rain?

Yes – to a point.
The T25 is IP67-rated (dust and water resistant) and can operate in:

  • Light rain

  • Moderate wind (up to 10 m/s)

For best spray accuracy and safety, avoid operating in heavy rain or strong winds.

12. Is training available?

Yes. Training is highly recommended  Training typically covers:

  • Drone setup and flight safety

  • Flight planning and spraying calibration

  • Maintenance routines

We can connect you with certified trainers if needed.

13. How accurate is the spraying?

Very accurate. The T25 uses:

  • Centimetre-level RTK positioning

  • Real-time flow control

  • 7-metre spray width

  • Consistent droplet size via dual atomizing nozzles

This results in precise, even coverage that reduces waste and minimises overspray.

14. What kind of battery does it use?

The T25 uses the DJI DB1560 smart battery, designed specifically for agricultural use. It features:

  • 15,000 mAh capacity

  • Fast charging

  • Built-in safety monitoring

15. Can I lease or rent a DJI T25?

No, leasing or rental is not available option.

16. How do I clean the spray system?

After each use:

  • Rinse the tank with clean water

  • Run clean water through the spray lines

  • Remove and clean nozzles and filters

  • Let components dry before storage

Regular cleaning prevents blockages and protects the pump and valves.

17. Can it handle hilly or uneven ground?

Yes. The T25 uses active terrain following, meaning it adjusts its height automatically based on ground elevation — ideal for Irish fields with slopes or uneven surfaces.

18. Is the T25 suitable for natural or organic spraying?

Absolutely. The T25 is ideal for applying natural inputs like:

  • Liquid seaweed

  • Fish emulsion

  • Microbial or biological blends

  • Compost teas

Its gentle atomisation and precise coverage help maximise the effectiveness of natural inputs without damaging crops.

19. Can I use the T25 for more than spraying?

Yes. With the optional spreader attachment, the T25 can also be used for:

  • Seeding cover crops

  • Spreading granular fertilizers

  • Distributing natural products (e.g. lime, biochar, etc.)

20. Where can I get support or spare parts?

We offer:

  • Local technical support

  • Spare parts and accessories

  • Maintenance and service options
